I Became Interested in Chiropractic at a Young Age
I became interested in Chiropractic at a young age when I witnessed my best friend’s dad, who happened to be a Chiropractor, perform an adjustment. I watched in disbelief as a feeble, weak, incapacitated man entered my friend’s home and was literally transformed into a happy, functional, energetic person after an adjustment.
My Chiropractic Education
My Chiropractic education started that day at my friend’s house. I grew up second of four boys on a small farm in Canada. After graduating high school I proceeded to get my bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, the study of human movement. From there I went to Chesterfield, Missouri to attend Logan College of Chiropractic where I graduated top of my class.
Upon Graduation
Upon graduation I took a job running an office in Rochester, Michigan to be close to my family in Canada. I have been an active Chiropractor in the Rochester, Michigan area for the past eight years and have held a license to practice chiropractic in Canada as well. I have had the great pleasure of treating thousands of patients ranging from birth to elderly, for pain relief and wellness care, for injuries and injury prevention and have even treated several professional athletes from the Detroit Pistons, Lions and Redwings.
At Home in Olney
I met the love of my life, Tara, during my last year of Chiropractic College. We wed 2 years later. My wife also happens to be a chiropractor! We have 3 children; Kellan, Grady and Maeven. Although we enjoyed our time in Michigan, having children changed our focus. My wife and I both grew up in small farming communities and we wanted to raise our children knowing that they would know their neighbors, be safe and grow up in a community where people looked out for one another. That is what brought us here..to make Olney our home.
